CHERYL

OFFICE MANAGER

Cheryl has been in the dental field for over 30 years. Over the past several years, additional responsibilities allowed for experiences in management, training, becoming our patients’ insurance advocate and embracing the quickly advancing technology in dentistry.

She was born and raised as a typical Orange County girl: growing up spending time on the beach, learning to ski in the local mountains and doing several other outdoor sports. As a young mother, dentistry provided a special opportunity to raise a family and balance an enjoyable career. She has three grown children and is a proud grandmother of seven adorable grandchildren

She feels Dr. Sorge is an amazing dentist. “He has an artistic hand and eye for dentistry. His work is beautiful. Plus, he is a super nice guy and relates well with people. Our staff is well rounded with lots of creativity and experience.”

DANA

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST (RDH)

Dana gravitated to dentistry during her college years. She has been practicing dental hygiene for over 25 years, graduating from Pasadena City College in 1985. Living in San Clemente for 30 years now, with husband at her side, they have raised three children and have two grandkids, thus far.

When not working, she enjoys babysitting grandkids, doing Pilates, playing pickleball and traveling to golf events, (her daughter plays on the LPGA).

“I love working for Dr. Sorge and being a part of the Epic Family Dental Practice. I would consider myself to be a Type A person so being a hygienist has always been a perfect fit to help patients have healthy, happy and sparkling smiles.”

KIM

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST (RDH)

Kim started her career in dentistry about 30 years ago as a dental assistant in San Jose, CA. She received her degree in dental hygiene from Cabrillo College in 1992 and shortly thereafter relocated to the Orange County area. She has been with this practice over 20 years.

“I enjoy getting to know my patients and providing them with high quality care. It’s very satisfying when patients appreciate and thank me for taking good care of them. I’m grateful I’m able to work in such a beautiful, high-tech office. Dr. Sorge is an experienced, caring and highly skilled dentist and has the patient’s best interests in mind. He also makes us all laugh, have fun and appreciates his hard-working staff.”

Kim loves her two children. Her daughter is in college and her son lives and works close in San Clemente. After work, she enjoys the local beaches, walking or running the trails, skiing, cooking and traveling.

Sarah

REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT (RDA)

Her love of dentistry started over 2 decades ago. She attained her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in 2002 at USC, but with a fondness for dentistry and need for growth in the field, she successfully pursued her RDAEF license in 2004 at UCLA. This license has allowed Sarah to perform permanent procedures, making her highly valuable to the practice.

Sarah is instrumental in helping bring patients comfort and ease during their dental visits, as she too understands the apprehension associated with receiving dental treatment.

Sarah is a devoted wife and loving mother to her 3 children. She is also a doting grandmother, to 2 grandsons. Her family is her world!

In her spare time, you can find Sarah participating in several activities, whether it’s laying near the pool or beach, lacing up her roller skates and playing roller derby or going for a horseback ride on her horse.

Epic Family Dental has an excellent and professional team. Dr. Sorge has superb chairside manners, years of experience and makes it comfortable for patients to be well informed and guided toward their unique and specific dental goals.

I have a wonderful husband, who I have been married to for 20 years. We have three terrific, frustrating kids who mean the world to me. I enjoy every moment I have with my family because life has enlightened me that time waits for no one.

I enjoy cooking for my family, everything from Mexican food to Thai food. I like to stay physically active by keeping my house in tip top condition and occasionally taking a nice little walk around the neighborhood.”

At first, I was really bummed when I learned that my Dentist of over 20 yrs. was retiring, and another Dentist would be taking over his practice. I figured I’d stay with the new one and see how it goes. Well, many years later, I realize that Dr. Sorge was Dr. Sanders choice to takeover his patients for a reason. Dr. Sorge and his staff have been awesome. I highly recommend him because of his professionalism, honesty, compassion and a genuine desire to do what’s best for his clients.

Dana O’Toole is a wonderful hygienist and really enjoy having her clean my teeth.
Feb 2026:  Recently Dr Sorge performed the NightLase procedure on me to lessen my snoring. It hasn’t stopped my snoring but it definitely has lessen it. I’m so glad that he replaced his Biolase iPlus laser with a Fotona LightWalker laser
