Northern Utah’s Cache Valley is where Dr. James E. Sorge was raised. After graduating from BYU, he earned an honors degree in Doctor of Medical Dentistry from Portland, Oregon’s Oregon Health Sciences University in 1998. Soon after, he and his family relocated to Fallbrook, a town in San Diego’s North County. He worked in the “Avocado Capital” of the world for 23 years before moving to Orange County to open a practice in San Clemente.

Dr. Sorge has advanced his career by researching advancements in cosmetic dentistry, implantology (dental implants), orthodontics (braces), TMJ disorders, and dental sleep medicine and offering general and family dental care. He has delivered speeches to numerous dental and medical organizations. Dr. Sorge has participated in humanitarian initiatives in the South Pacific islands, Oregon, and California.
